STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Breakfast is served FREE to all students, from 6:45 – 7:12 a.m.

During testing days, lunch will be served twice – once during the 15-minute break and immediately after school.  Each day the Flames Grill will be serving Yogurt Parfait, Chicken Sandwich, Burrito and Cold Sandwiches.                                                                                                               Rieger

On CAASPP testing days, the After-School Math, Science, and Library programs will start at 11:45 a.m. and run approximately two hours.                                                                                                             —Wallis

 

Due to state testing, Athletic Study Halls will not be held Tuesday-Thursday.  All study hall athletes will need to report to the library, between 11:45-12:00, to sign-in on those days.  Monday study halls will remain the same.  Normal study hall hours will resume on Monday, April 24.                                              Aitken

 

Fourth-Quarter Off-Campus cards are available to pick up TODAY, before or after school, at the North Administration office window.  Please bring exact change of $2.  New cards are needed to leave campus on Friday.                                                                                                                              Hausauer

 

Drama Club is presenting their spring production The Sound of Music! Come and see this fabulous musical! Show dates are TONIGHT, Thursday - April 20, and Friday - April 21.  Admission is $5 for Students and $10 for Adults.  Tickets sold at the door at 6:30 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m.  Goodman

 

Seniors - If you would like to give the welcome greeting in Spanish at graduation, please put together a 1-2 minute speech that welcomes friends and family to graduation.  Please turn in your speech to Mr. Lofsted, in the North Administration Office, TODAY. Administration and faculty will choose the person to give the welcome greeting in Spanish based on their speech.                                                                            —Gross

Seniors - All Night Graduation Party on Wednesday, May 31, from 11 p.m. - 4 a.m.  Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from Mr. Nutting, Mr. Friesen or Mrs. VanNess – cash or checks made payable to Lodi High School.  Price includes all games, food, drinks and prizes.  Last year we gave out $10,000 worth of prizes.  If you buy your ticket before April 30, your name will be in a drawing to win $100 CASH! Nutting

 

Club & ASTEP News

 

The Day of Silence is Friday, April 21. If you would like to participate in bringing awareness to those silenced by bullying, come to the GSA meeting on Thursday, after school, in the Library. All participants will receive a free “no hate” button.  Be the generation that ends the silence!                               Campbell

Sports

 

Lodi High Athletics will be having physicals for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year!  Physicals will be held on Monday, May 1 and Tuesday, May 2, from 4 - 8 p.m., in the South Gym.  Lodi Memorial Health Net will be here to perform the physicals and the cost will be $20.  Appointments can be made in the Athletic Office, during office hours.  All new and returning athletes will need a physical prior to participating in Summer conditioning.  Spaces are limited so get your appointments today!                         —Loya-Barnhart

 

College & Career

Are you interested in a career in the field of Cosmetology? A representative from the Career Academy of Cosmetology will visit Lodi High on Wednesday, April 26, during 5th period, to talk about their low-cost program. May 5 is the deadline to register for the June 10 ACT Test.

May 9 is the deadline to register for the June 3 SAT Test.

Fee waivers are available to seniors enrolled in AVID or the lunch program.  Stop by the Career Center to apply for a fee waiver or pick up registration materials.                                                                     —Jauregui
